AT herWelcome to the 2025 edition of the Ngilngig Asian Fantastic Film Festival Davao, where we celebrate ngilngig—a common Bisaya expression for the fantastic and the magical, the horrifying and the macabre.
This year’s theme, “Retrograde” reflects broken systems, reversed connections, and worlds caught in looping error states. It is a time of looking back, reflecting, and moving forward with narratives that expand and reshape the many meanings of ngilngig.
