Ngilngig isn’t just about films; it’s about community. By volunteering, you’re helping bring people together to share in the wonder and power of regional storytelling, genre films and asian cinema. Whether it’s setting the stage or welcoming guests, every role you play helps make this festival a place where creativity and connection thrive.
We’re opening roles in the following areas:
▸ Documentation
Photographer and videographer to capture moments of the festival in images and film.
▸ Social Media
Copywriter and storyteller to manage FB, IG, Tiktok stories, write engaging posts, and design materials on Canva.
▸ Tech
Onsite support for lights, sound, and projection, managing print traffic, and online talkback screen support (Zoom/Google Meet).
▸ Comms & Logistics
Help in handling merchandise, stage and program support, filmmaker coordination, and guest experience.
▸ Graphic & Layout Artists
Assist in creating the official festival catalog and visual materials.
⚠️ Note: Some positions may extend after the festival. We prefer volunteers who can attend onsite and join most weekend meetings leading up to the event.
All volunteers will receive a badge/ID card, meals during festival days, and access to film screenings. We also hope to provide Ngilngig commemorative merchandise, subject to stock and availability.
